Rangifer tarandus groenlandicus

Barren-Ground Caribou (Reindeer)

In the largest races, the antlers of big males can range up to 100 cm (39 in) in width and 135 cm (53 in) in beam length. They have the largest antlers relative to body size among living deer species.

R. Tarandus

Reindeer are ruminants, having a four-chambered stomach. They mainly eat lichens in winter, especially reindeer moss. However, they also eat the leaves of willows and birches, as well as sedges and grasses. There is some evidence to suggest that on occasion, they will also feed on lemmings, arctic char, and bird eggs

Gettin' to know your sport

I work at a climbing gym and I thought it might be fun to familiarize myself with the sport by doing cute little drawings. As I learn I'll try to do more.

Bikes Beware

So today I got my front tire repaired on my bike and when I got home my back tire was flat. I pulled some of these bad boys out of it. I'm bummed because I was excited to start riding to work.

Hi no Youjin/ Combustible

You've done it again Mr. Otomo.

So I went to the Redcat theatre and saw Katsuhiro Otomo's new short film. The film was gorgeous and he was there in person to answer uncomfortably awkward questions from long time fans.

All joking aside his presence was very inspiring.

Comic-ing it up

I've been getting into this daily comic thing that I tried to start doing a long time ago. It's pretty fun. They probably wont all be good. But if I train the muscle it'll get stronger.

Here's a old (and really disorganized) comic I did with Animder Dhaliwal when I was interning at Nick.
